Building a Tool for Equity in Schooling Processes: Implications for Leadership Emerging school leaders in the 21st century have to embrace new values that are important in the democratic framework, such as equity, non-discrimination, resilience, grit, inter-dependence and courage. This session focuses on equity as a principle of fairness and how it can be operationalized in the context of schooling processes. It provides school leaders and teachers with a few exemplar tools that can be useful in making classroom and schooling processes more equitable.
