Empowering Research and Innovation

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has once again demonstrated its commitment to advancing research and innovation with the launch of the AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) Scheme for the academic year 2024-25. This initiative is set to revolutionize the research landscape in AICTE-approved institutions, fostering a culture of high-quality, collaborative research that bridges the gap between academia and industry.

Expanding Horizons: ADF’s New Scope

One of the most notable aspects of the 2024-25 ADF Scheme is its expanded scope. Originally confined to students of Engineering and Technology, the scheme now embraces all areas under AICTE’s purview. This inclusive approach opens doors for a broader range of research activities, encouraging a diverse pool of scholars to contribute to the academic and industrial research ecosystems.

Generous Support: Scholarships and Financial Aid

The ADF Scheme is designed to provide substantial financial support to aspiring researchers. Each year, 400 scholarships will be awarded, reflecting AICTE’s commitment to nurturing academic talent. The scholarships are provided through direct beneficiary transfer (DBT), ensuring timely and efficient disbursement of funds.
