Indian Navy INCET 01/2024 Recruitment

The Indian Navy INCET has announced the recruitment for the Indian Naval Civilian Entrance Test (INCET 01/2024). This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to join the Indian Navy as a civilian. Online applications are open from July 20, 2024, and will remain open until August 2, 2024. Indian Navy INCET : Important Dates

  • Notification Date: 20 July 2024
  • Last Date for Form Submission: 02 August 2024
  • Exam Date: To Be Announced Soon

Indian Navy INCET : Application Fee

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹295/-
  • SC / ST: No Fee
  • Payment Methods: Pay online via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or offline via Bank Challan.

Indian Navy INCET : Age Limit (As on August 2024)

  • Chargeman (Mechanic) and Scientific Assistant: 18 – 30 Years
  • Fireman and Fire Engine Driver: 18 – 27 Years
  • Other Posts: 18 – 25 Years
  • Age Limit Relaxation: As per rules

Indian Navy INCET Vacancy Details: Total 741 Posts

Here’s a breakdown of the available positions:

  1. Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop): 1 Post
    • Qualification: B.Sc./Diploma in Chemical Engineering
  2. Chargeman (Factory): 10 Posts
    • Qualification: B.Sc. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or Civil Engineering (CE)
  3. Chargeman (Mechanic): 18 Posts
    • Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Production Engineering (PE) + 2 Years Experience
  4. Scientific Assistant: 4 Posts
    • Qualification: B.Sc. Degree from any recognized board + 2 Years Experience
  5. Draughtsman (Construction): 2 Posts
    • Qualification: Class 10th/High School Examination + 2 Year Certificate or ITI in a Related Field
  6. Fireman: 444 Posts
    • Qualification: Class 12th Examination + Basic Fire Fighting Course
  7. Fire Engine Driver: 58 Posts
    • Qualification: Class 12th Examination + Heavy Motor Vehicle License
  8. Tradesman Mate: 161 Posts
    • Qualification: Class 10th/High School Examination + ITI in Related Field
  9. Pest Control Worker: 18 Posts
    • Qualification: Class 10th/High School Examination
  10. Cook: 9 Posts
    • Qualification: Class 10th/High School Examination + 1 Year Experience
  11. MTS (Ministerial): 16 Posts
    • Qualification: Class 10th/High School + ITI

Selection Process

  • Written Exam

    • All candidates will need to appear for a written examination that tests their knowledge and skills relevant to the position they are applying for.
  • Physical Test

    • For Fireman & Fire Engine Driver Positions Only
      • Candidates applying for these roles will be required to undergo a physical fitness test to assess their physical capabilities.
  • Document Verification

    • After passing the written exam and physical test (if applicable), candidates will need to present their original documents for verification. This step ensures that all provided information and credentials are accurate.
  • Medical Examination

    • All selected candidates must undergo a medical examination to ensure they are in good health and fit for the respective role.
