About CISF

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is one of India’s Central Armed Police Forces, functioning under the Ministry of Home Affairs. It was established in 1969 with a mission to provide security to critical industrial and infrastructure facilities across India. Over the years, CISF has expanded its role, securing not only public sector undertakings but also private industries, government buildings, airports, metro rail systems, and nuclear installations.

CISF consists of highly trained personnel, and it follows strict protocols to ensure the safety and security of the facilities it guards. As of today, it has a sanctioned strength of 1,63,590 personnel.CISF plays a vital role in India’s security framework, especially in protecting economic and critical infrastructure. It ensures the smooth functioning of essential services that are integral to national development.

Introduction to CISF Constable/Fire (Male) Recruitment 2024

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released a notification for the recruitment of Constable/Fire (Male) positions on a temporary basis, with the pay scale of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100/- along with usual allowances as per Central Government rules. Upon appointment, selected candidates will be governed by the CISF Act, Central Civil Services Rules, and will be entitled to pension benefits under the National Pension System (NPS) for government employees appointed on or after 1st January 2004.

Application Fee for CISF Constable/Fire (Male) Recruitment 2024

  • For General and OBC Candidates: ₹100/-
  • For SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Candidates: Nil (No Fee)

Payment Mode:

  • Online: Through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, or UPI.
  • Offline: Cash payment at SBI branches using an SBI Challan.

Important Notes:

  • Challan Payment Deadline: Candidates opting to pay via SBI Challan must generate the Challan before 30th September 2024 (23:00 hours) and can make the cash payment at SBI branches within bank working hours up to 2nd October 2024.
  • Ensure you keep the payment receipt or transaction reference number safe for future correspondence.

Important Dates for CISF Constable/Fire (Male) Recruitment 2024:

  • Starting Date to Apply Online & Payment of Fee: 31st August 2024
  • Last Date to Apply Online & Payment of Fee: 30th September 2024 (up to 23:00 hrs)
  • SBI Challan Payment Deadline: 2nd October 2024 (within bank working hours, provided the challan is generated before 30th September 2024, 23:00 hrs)
  • Application Form Correction Window: 10th October 2024 to 12th October 2024 (up to 23:00 hrs)

Age Limit (as of 30th September 2024)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 23 Years
    (Candidates born between 1st October 2001 and 30th September 2006 are eligible)
  • Age relaxation: As per government rules.

Qualification for CISF Constable/Fire (Male) Recruitment 2024:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th Class (or its equivalent) from a recognized board.

Physical Standards for CISF Constable/Fire (Male) Recruitment 2024:

  1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
    • Running: Candidates must complete a 5 km run in 24 minutes.
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST):
    • Height: Minimum 170 cm.
    • Chest: 80 cm (unexpanded) and 85 cm (expanded) with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
    • Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
